    Consumer Products

    Searle's Consumer Products Division was established in 1990 as a small department, which initially marketed only one product Canderel. Later in 1995 Peditral was added to CPD portfolio and up till 1998 the department only focused on these two brands both of which were locally manufactured.

    In 1998 some imported products were also added to CPD portfolio and the scope of operations extended to local as well as imported brands. However, as a strategic move these imported products have been transferred to International Brands (Pvt) Limited (a sister concern of SPL) since July 2006.

    This has established CPD as the marketing arm for Searle supplementing the sales & distribution strength of the company.
