Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Indications
RTI, UTI, Typhoid
Drug Interactions
Increased toxicity with aminoglycoside may be possible.
Side Effects
Abdominal Pain, diarrhea, headache, urticaria
Warning and Precautions
Modify dossage in renal impaired patients.
Dosage
Adults: 200-400 MG OD
Children under 12, 6-12 mg/kg/day
