Indications
Gastric ulcers 30mg OD for 4-8 weeks
Reflux Esophagitis 30-60 mg OD 4-8 weeks
Gastroesophageal reflux disease 30mg OD for 8 weeks
Acid peptic disorders refrectory to H2 antagonists 30-60 mg OD for 8-12 weeks
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. Dose varies according to the severity of disorder.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity, Pregnancy, Lactation, Severe hepatic disease.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant drug interactions with other drugs.
Side Effects
Abdominal pain, diarrhea , nausea/vomiting ,headache and dermatological reactions were observed in less than 2% of the patients.
Warning and Precautions
Children, Elderly patients (the maximum dose should be 30 mg/day)
